About the Artist Cindy Testerink

Creativity has always been part of the rhythm of my life—woven into the fabric of my earliest memories. Over the past four decades, I’ve explored many forms of expression: watercolor, acrylic, oil, sculpture, jewelry, and print design. Each medium offered a different voice, a new way to listen and respond to the world around me.

Painting is where I reside—where my truest voice sings loudest. It is my music, shaped not by sound but by color. Each brushstroke is a note, each composition a song of feeling, shaped by instinct moved by emotion and refined by love.

My work is not about representation—it’s about resonance. A curve, a contrast, a collision of hues. A moment suspended. These paintings are meant to be felt, inviting the viewer into quiet reflection, emotional memory, or simply the beauty of being present in the moment, in the world that GOD created fo us.

This is how I move through the world: listening, seeing, translating life into color.
